Our prayers have been answered...

We are moving! Hurrah!

This...

Is to become this...

It is definitely what you would call a fixer upper, but it's a house. A whole house, with stairs all of our own. I can hardly imagine such a thing. It is only being rented so we don't have free reign over it, but what we do have is two floors, three bedrooms and a whole heap of space to fill. Oh, and a garden, A GARDEN! I can't explain how incredibly happy this makes me.

Hopefully this means Bean will start sleeping again without the constant sirens; no longer sleeping next to the kitchen. I may get more than 40 minutes at a time to myself. Such things are surely just fantasy. But I can dream and, gosh darn it, I will! Hip hip hooray!

You have to head to the junk shop for new bits for the house...it's on Julian Rd and is only open from 10am to 12, but is totally worth the trip...get there at 10 though as the good stuff goes quick! Have an awesome time xx

  9. I'm so pleased for you reading this post. And there's lots you can do in rented properties to make them your own. You will have it looking splendid in no time, I'm certain.

  10. Thank you so much for your lovely comments! I feel somewhat overwhelmed by so many people lovely thoughts and wishes- thank you :)

It's going to be quite the adventure I will post lots and lots of photos of the developments. We are very lucky as it is actually Hubble's nan's house which we are renting so we have got quite a lot of flexibility with the decoration- sorry the carpet has already gone (it was 30 years old and only in the lounge!).

I am incredibly excited, it feels like a whole new chapter of our lives together is starting. Yeay for new beginnings (and no sirens!!)

    xx
