On Sunday, after nearly six years of living in London, I finally visited Columbia Road Flower Market.
After a coffee with friends we squeezed our way through the crowds and densely packed stalls under rays of beautiful spring sunshine. As lovely as the flowers were there are only so many stall you can walk past before they all look the same. The shops, on the other hand, are brilliant and really varied. I think I may make a trip back on a regular day so I can peruse at leisure without the crowds.
Next week it's our NCT reunion lunch so there will be no outing but I am compiling a list for all the other Sundays to come. I'm always on the look out for inspiration, so if you have any ideas please share!
